Greetings!

My name is Dave Langer, and I’m passionate about helping my clients have a real-world impact with analytics.

I’ve been in the technology field for 28 years and have been doing hands-on analytics for the last 14 years. Over this time, I have done just about everything you can do with data, including data warehousing, reporting, dashboards, crafting KPIs, data analysis, and machine learning.

In years past, I held analytics leadership roles at Schedulicity, Data Science Dojo, and Microsoft. Don’t worry, though. I was a hands-on leader, crafting analyses and providing guidance to leaders.

These days, I’m an independent consultant and educator. My passion is demystifying analytics to empower any professional (or team) with the skills required to explore, clean, and analyze data using battle-tested techniques, such as clustering and predictive modeling. I’ve successfully taught 1,000+ professionals these skills in live classrooms and 1,000s more online.

I also deliver advanced analytics solutions for my clients, where my focus is on helping organizations build better forecasts using machine learning.

Lately, I’ve been fascinated with how Microsoft is turning Excel into the world’s most accessible tool for practical data science.

Yes, you read that last sentence correctly. 🤣
